Dr. Xuhui Hu is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Instrument Science and Engineering, Southeast University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2022 from Southeast University under the supervision of Prof. Aiguo Song.
His research focuses on Human-Machine Integrated Dexterous Myoelectric Prostheses. This involves developing intelligent measurement and control systems that not only control prosthetic hands by detecting electrophysiological signals from residual limbs but also provide sensory feedback to users. His work encompasses key technologies in Embodied AI, including electrophysiological signal acquisition and processing, sensory feedback reconstruction, and human-machine shared control, representing a frontier research area in Instrument Science.
Representative Achievements:
- Published a first-author paper in Science Robotics (IF=26.5).
- Champion, Global Assistive Technology Competition (CYBATHLON 2024) Arm Prosthesis Race.
- Grand Prize Winner (“1st Place”), “Challenge Cup” National College Student Competition (Special Track).
